Ingredients

  • 1 15 oz. can boiled bamboo shoots tips, rinsed and drained and cut lengthwise into quarters

  • 1-inch rock sugar

  • 1 tablespoon rice wine

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Directions

  • Add the bamboo shoots, rock sugar, rice wine, soy sauce, dark soy sauce and 1/2 cup water to a small pot.
  • Over high heat, bring ingredients to a boil and cook over medium heat for about twenty minutes or until the liquid is reduced.
  • Serve on a plate and drizzle with the sesame oil.
